Ale Sura sent over this beautiful wedding from the Ylang Ylang resort in Montezuma on the Nicoya Peninsula. The Ylang Ylang is a truly special place, it's like a beachfront hobbit village set back in the jungle, with quaint little bungalows and treehouses. The only way to access it is on foot, or by 4x4 along the beach as there's no road to it! The perfect remote and intimate location for Lindsay & Rene's beautiful celebration.
Lindsay went on to say, "Another reason I wanted a wedding in Costa Rica is because I wanted a small intimate wedding with my closest friends and family and to not get caught up in the insignificant details. I always felt that all the planning and stress takes away from what this really is, a ceremony to commit your love. I couldn't have been happier with the turn out. Rene and I were able to spend quality time with the people we care for. Getting married in Costa Rica forced a lot of our friends and family out of their comfort zone, and they were thankful in the end. It broadened their horizons and several of them are now planning on returning to Costa Rica. I was so happy to share a little piece of Rene and I with them, since Montezuma stole our hearts years ago."
Enjoy these gorgeous photos by Ale!
